Inspired by Lake Eyre, South Australia, the lowest natural point in Australia, Porta Contours in Ayre layers texture to create variation and visual interest.
As a strong linear profile, Contours in Ayre depict the low natural level of Lake Eyre when it’s empty and the rise in level when the lake fills with water.
By both enhancing and softening strong lines, Contours in Ayre add textural movement and spatial definition to interior spaces. Perfect for use as a feature in a kitchen, bedroom, hallway, lounge, or dining room, Ayre can also be used to clad cabinetry and doors. In addition, it can also be used to create concealed doorways for a seamless finish.
With its consistent tongue and groove joint, Ayre can be used in conjunction with any other Contours profile to create a unique design as well as in curved applications.
